Special Cuvée de Bollinger is a wine produced in the Champagne appellation. This cuvée owes its name to Georges Bollinger who, finding the name "Brut sans année" unsuitable, decided to rename it as well. During its preparation, Bollinger makes a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier. 85% of the grape varieties used by Bollinger in the production of its wines come from Grands Crus and Premiers Crus. After assembly, Bollinger´s Special Cuvée benefits from an exceptionally long maturation period in the cellar.
